What is the benchmark of CNC machining?
CNC machining parts are used to determine the location of other points, lines and surfaces, based on the point, line and surface is called the benchmark. Then how to determine the CNC machining base?

1, CNC machining workpiece design benchmark
The datum used to determine the position of other points, lines and planes on the CNC machining part drawing is called the design datum.
2, CNC machining process standards
CNC machining parts in the process of processing, inspection and assembly of the benchmark used as the process benchmark. Process datum includes positioning datum, measurement datum and assembly datum.
(1) positioning datum
The datum used to determine the correct position of the workpiece relative to the machine tool during processing is called positioning datum.
(2) measurement datum
The datum used to check the size and position of the machined surface is called the measuring datum.
(3) assembly datum
A reference used to determine the position of a part or component in a machine during assembly. For example, the shaft neck, the inner hole of the gear part and the bottom surface of the box are often the assembly datum.
